The Rhinoceros is a powerful herbivore that is considered to be one of the deadliest creatures on planet earth to us humans. They have a thick protective skin averaging 1.5-5 cm thick, arranged as layers of collagen positioned in a lattice pattern. Suprising, it's prized horn is not a true horn at all. It is comprised of thicky matted hair that emerges directly from the skull without any skeletal support. Rhinos also have acute hearing and sense of smell, but poor eyesight over any distance. They live to be about 50 years old. This was inked by ball-point pen like the post image below, but I added subtle splashes of color for some drama.
